Olea Australis Limited’s first commercial product Dandaragan Estate Ultra Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil has received and continues to receive major International and Australian recognition for quality:
Dandaragan Estate was advised that it had once again received a "Diploma of Grand Mention"at the "Leone d Oro dei Mastri Oleari"(Mastri Oleari Golden Lion Award), held in May 2005 in Italy. On 7 April 2005 Dandaragan estate was award a "Gran Menzione" at SOL 2005, Salone Internazionale Dell'Olio D'Oliva, Vergine E Extravergine in Verona, Italy. This a another presitigious international olive oil competetion that is held in Italy each year.
On 6 September 2004 Dandaragan Estate announced that it was the most successful producer in the Southern Hemisphere at the "Fresh Taste of the South" olive oil awards. Dandaragan Estate's Robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil was voted best olive oil in the Southern Hemisphere and the best olive oil of Australia and New Zealand. All four styles of Dandaragan Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil received awards, with the Fruity style of olive oil being voted the second best olive oil from Australia and New Zealand. On 17 September 2003 Dandaragan Estate announced that it was the most awarded producer at the Perth Royal Show's Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition. Dandaragan Estate won two gold, four silver and four bronze medals across all three retail blends and the Chef's Choice food service blend. (click here for announcement)
On 9 September 2003 Dandaragan Estate announced a further 15 medals in two seperate olive oil awards including two Gold medals at the Royal Canberra Show. In addition to the medals Dandaragan Estate was the most successful producer at the "Best Extra Virgin Olive Oils of the Southern Hemisphere" competition with all three retail blends being named in the final selection of the top olive oils.
