The Future of Integrated Olive Oil Production
Olea Australis, Australia's only sole purpose listed olive oil producer, is rapidly moving towards becoming a leading supplier of efficiently produced ultra premium extra virgin olive oil to global markets.
With a 385 hectare world class olive grove at Dandaragan, just north of Perth Western Australia, integrated production facilities and the successful launch of its Dandaragan Estate brand, Olea can readily demonstrate it ability to produce high quality EVOO at a sustainable cost advantage to traditional Mediterranean producers.
The recent completion of a state of the art processing facility at Dandaragan, will enable Olea to take total control of the entire production process while becoming a central provider of essential infrastructure to surrounding groves. Together with the latest technology in overhead harvesting these facilities will make Olea one of the lowest unit cost producers of bulk extra virgin olive oil in the world.
To ensure demand for its product Olea has signed an exclusive Australia wide distribution agreement with Manassen Foods, Australia's largest distributor of gourmet foods with offices in every mainland state and 170 sales staff servicing over 1,000 retail outlets nationally.
Olea is also in a number of negotiations with large repackagers of olive oil in Europe and the United States under which Olea is set to become a major supplier of high quality bulk Australian olive oil.
Olea has already commenced exports sales to the UK and is currently negotiating distribution arrangements in the United States and Asia with a number of parties.
With the global market for EVOO currently in supply deficit and very limited opportunity for traditional producers to meet ever increasing demand,Olea is well placed to substantially grow its business and become Australia's leading supplier of high quality extra virgin olive oil.
